A series of documentaries about women at the top of the medical profession. This programme follows Ailsa Denney, an intensive care nurse, as she travels from a London children's hospital to the Congo and the aftermath of a coup, as she is also on-call to a medical relief agency. In London she is shown tending to a 3-year-old girl after heart surgery, and in the Democratic Republic of Congo, taking part in a measles vaccination campaign.
