There is much loose material at the front of the volume covering 1942-1947, including souvenir programme of the visit of HRH Prince Charles, Regent of Belgium, to the BMS Yakusu, 11 Jul 1947; programme of a religious concert to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the BMS with typescript copy of a script for a performance (in Lingala or other Congolese language); extract from a report and letter to Browne by Rev. Stonelake on the 'Yandjali Affaire', Mar 1945, an atrocity involving a British officer and his men who fired on retreating natives; mounted photograph of the Hodge Family ('Uncle Harry and Auntie Liddie, Grace, Hilda, Bert')
