Papers consist of 11 items of correspondence: Most of these are from Jane Pim herself, with queries and information about her application for the post of Assistant Matron at the Retreat in 1856; there is also a letter from James Tuke about her 1856, and a draft committee note on her appointment; there is also a letter of 1866 written to her from a friend who knew her at the Retreat.
