Among his many accomplishments, Hunter was also responsible for founding some of the greatest medical museums in Europe - the Hunterian museum of the Royal College of Surgeons of England was based on his own private collection. This is the first collected edition of his works. Volume 1 includes a life of Hunter by Drewry Ottley
