Description
The West of England and South Wales Branch was founded in 1893. The South Wales section separated in 1900 and became part of the Welsh Branch in 1919. In May 1974 the Branch became the South West Region. The Southern Area of the Branch held its own separate meetings, often involving a visit or tour. Their minutes are informal and brief.
