Notes

Kenneth Blackwell comes from Lancashire. He has done various jobs in his time including engineering, being a pastor and teaching. Only retired last year as he loved teaching so much that he worked for as long as he could but he decided last year that it was time to stop. He is a Christian and his religion is very important to him and has spent time in his life going to other countries on missions and is going to Rwanda in a couple of weeks to help people still suffering from the genocide 12 years ago. On the plinth he will be reading extracts from John's gospel.
