Notes

Ben Gerlis comes from London. He has already had some great jobs in theatre design at a range of venues including the Arcola, BAC, the National and the ENO. He is moving to Montreal in January to spend a year there to get a different perspective on work. Spoke about Robert Le Page and the playful nature of his work, comparing it with the way of working here in the UK. He was a last minute stand in and took up a couple of harmonicas with him and a white board on which he had written his email address for people from Montreal to contact him.
