Programme features MCANW members discussing opposition to nuclear weapons, following the announcement that government regulations would require all local authorities to prepare civil defence plans for the event of nuclear war. Focuses on Derby and the impact of nuclear attack on the Derbyshire area, with interviews with local Derby MCANW health workers. Also includes a recording of a MCANW panel discussion in the Assembly Rooms, Derby, to an audience of local Derby residents.
