About this work

Description

H.11 was a glandular extract, made from male urine, discovered in 1931 by Mr J H Thompson, then a physiologist at the Middlesex Hospital and later director of the Hosa Research Laboratories. Clinical trials by the Medical Research Council showed no evidence to prove that it did inhibit cancer growth.
