Notes

Vyvy Lewis was born and raised in Miami, Florida but now lives in London. Participating in the project is giving her a chance to be creative which she has not had chance to do while living in London. She works as a solicitor in the child protection field and will be promoting child protection on the plinth. She thinks that proposed reforms for legal represention of children will be detrimental for children. She will read out declarations from the United Nations while on the plinth as well as juggling, playing didgeridoo and swinging poi. She also brought bubble wrap as part of her protective theme. She has Vietnamese and French heritage but was raised in Miami, she practiced law in Seattle and moved to England with her husband five years ago. She has mixed feelings about London but appreciates the opportunity to live in a city with many different languages and cultures. She thinks the project is definitely art. She is an avid reader, loves to travel, plays piano, dances and is interested in circus skills. She is wearing white because it is a colour associated with good and it matches her bubble wrap. She will juggle bubble wrapped sweets which she will then throw to the crowd.
