About this work
Description
A painting by Normal Psychology Patient 1 "Clarice" depicting a body like shape below the outline of an orange sun. Rita Simon noted: "All the square bits are part of herself , they have come together. The circle = myself. It's a proto-selfportrait" This analysis is taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997
