First two end papers consist of inscriptions 'Julia Randolph' and 'Sophia Lombard'.

Biographical note
Sophia Lambarde (?-1838) and Juliana Randolph (nee Lambarde) were the daughters of Sir Multon Lambarde (1757-?) of Sevenoakes and Aurea, daughter of Francis Otway, who married in 1778. Julia married Admiral C G Randolph in 1829. The manuscript was intially created by Sophia and upon her death it was passed to her sister Juliana.
