Biographical note

The Multiple Births Foundation was founded in 1988 to provide assistance and support of multiple birth families by working with healthcare and other professionals to raise awareness of their specific needs. The charity advocates on behalf of parents expecting multiple births, and seeks to advance understanding of the incidence and impact of multiple births and the care, welfare, and development of twins, triplets and higher multiples. The charity also seeks to preserve and protect the health and wellbeing of twins and higher multiples including those with special needs, and to preserve and protect the mental and physical health of parents and children, in pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood.
