Notes

Robert Henry Claremont Phillips (known as Henry) is from Lymington in Hampshire. He is a headmaster of a prep school. A few years ago he ran a marathon for charity. He will be making a collage of a person and a horse while on the plinth. The horse is to represent the Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy who provide learning through horses, and because the plinth was originally for a statue featuring a horse. The director of the Fortune Centre will be at the bottom of the plinth. He is a committed fan of Gormley. He is doing the project for himself - he believes in taking part. He thinks he may disappoint people with his time on the plinth. His family, moving house, and his job are important to him. He thinks that teaching has changed a lot in his time as a teacher. He loves the theatre and used to teach art.
