Description

Collection of press-cuttings, publisher's notices, reviews, etc., relating to his writings: and including photographs, together with original poems and holograph translations of foreign notices: also some letters written to him referring to his works. Paris.

The heads of the 2 photographs of the compiler have been cut out in Vol. 2, and that in Vol. 3 has been similarly mutilated.

Lettered on the spine "Ouvrages de G. J. Witkowski: Comptes-rendus".

The letters, which are all signed holographs, are variously dated between 1904 and 1918 and were written by: Biéville (A. D. De); Callamand (E.) [1855-]; Dorveaux (C.); Dubié (Paul); Grand-Carteret (Jean) [1850-1927]; Porak (Charles) [1845-1921]; Quignon (A.); Toraude (Léon Gabriel) [1868-1945]; Witkowski (G. J. A.).
