Notes

Terry Burgess comes from Shropshire. He only took part because his daughter in law (an artist) applied on his behalf, together with immediate family and friends. She devised the idea behind his activity on the plinth and made his costume. He is wearing a purple outfit rather like an Arabic outfit. Her theme was that he should be a bard. On the plinth he will be reading poetry from Ogden Nash. He has worked in 28 countries and undertakes consultancy work. He started auditing quality in software products and now does consultancy work in information security management and IT service management.
