Notes

Terry Evans is from Brighton but has worked and lived all over the world as a biomedical scientist. On the plinth he is going to be speaking about the war in Afghanistan, reading out all of the names of those who have died and been injured as well as talking about his political views on the war and pointing out that countries are repeating the same mistakes of the past. He believes that his work abroad has influenced his political views. He is married with two sons and one daughter. He says that he has no interest in possessions, he is more of a spiritual person. He talks in depth about his views on war and politics in the Middle East and in Europe. He is curious about everything in life and is interested in many different subjects including history, photography and art, he says he has always been this way and thinks that he has inherited this interest from his father. He says that he has much faith in humanity and is happy to talk to anyone since it is a good way to learn.
