Project description:This project aims to provide practical bioinformatics activities allowing 16-19-year-old biology students to explore modern evidence for evolution. The activities use state-of-the art data analysis tools and molecular sequence data. Each of the activities centres around an engaging story from recent research in molecular biology encompassing microbiology, plant and animal biology, and human evolution. All of the materials are free-to-use and may be accessed and downloaded from the internet.
