Notes

Samuel Infield is a 21 year old history student from London who hopes to join the Navy as a warfare officer next September. On the plinth he is going to release 77 balloons one for each of the service men and women killed in Afghanistan this year, something he believes he is going to find very harrowing. He is hoping that his time on the plinth will raise awareness and money for Help for Heroes. He has joined the university branch of the Navy and the main thing he enjoys is the comeraderie of it all. He also enjoys archery and singing in the university choir. His time on the plinth is culmination of ideas from his family who also applied for the project.
