About this work

Description

Narrated by John Hannah, the third in a series of programmes which follow the lives of families who are living with a genetic disease. Jim Costello inherited the faulty gene, which has resulted in Gorlin's Syndrome (Basal Cell Nevus Syndrome), from his father. There is no known cure, and Jim's two daughters have also inherited the disease. The Costello family talk openly about the affect on their lives of this disfiguring disease, and how they have put their knowledge to good use, by setting up a worldwide support network.
