Description

Gold Coast recollections [Incomplete]. Author's holograph MS. Written on folio and quarto sheets of various formats and sizes, and on the rectos only. The MS. contains an account of the 14th Expedition sent out by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in December 1904 to the Gold Coast. The author was with Lt. Col. George James Giles [1858-1916] of the Indian Medical Service. The object of the expedition was to organize sanitary and antimalarial measures in Ashanti and the Gold Coast.
