    A.D 1869, Januart, 173. Instrument for Treating Rheumatism, &c. LETTERS PATENT to Charles Baunsclieidt, of Endenich, near Bonn, in tho Kingdom of Prussia, for the Invention of “ A New or Improved Ikstrume^t jo be used in the Treatment of Rheumatism and other Diseases.” Sealed the 27th April 1869, and dated the 19th January 1869, \ PROVISIONAL SPECIFICATION left by the said Charles Baunscheidt ^ at the Office of 'the Commissioners of Patents, with his Petition, on the 19th January 1869, I, Charles Baunscheidt, of Endenich, near Bonn, in the Kingdom^ ^ of Prussia, do hereby declare the nature of the said Invention for “ A New or Improved Instrument to be used in the Treatment of Rheumatism AND other Diseases,” to be as follows:— My Invention relates to an instrument to be used in the treatment of rheumatic affections and other diseases such as earache, headache, 10 deafness, intermittent and nervous fevers, inflammation of the brain.
