Notes

Helen Dearnley lives in Lincoln. She is an artist who graduated from Lincoln University three years ago in Fine Art and Illustration. Talked about her recent project which started as a laugh but became more involved, it was an installation in the style of A-Ha's video 'Take On Me'. She described making a doll for Mags from the band, he is a visual artist who asked people to make a doll of him for an exhibition in Norway. Recently set up an art group which helps keep artists who graduate from the University working in Lincoln, encouraging them to stay and continue their practice. There are currently about 90 members included creatives not associated with the university. On the plinth she will promoting her work and her art group.
