Description
These files contain press cuttings, posters, and descriptions of the exhibitions mounted at Portman Square. Two or three of these exhibitions were mounted concurrently and were widely advertised as open to the public by posters and notices in the press. Most of the exhibitions were for a year, although some were for a few weeks or months to coincide with a conference or event such as the Festival of Britain
