Description
Adaptation for television of Nicola Baldwin's play The Gift, a drama of the ethical dilemmas and emotional problems created by genetic diseases such as Friedreich's Ataxia and the exercise of genetic choices within the family, set alternately in 1998 and 2028. The drama is followed by a fictional studio discussion between the principal characters and an expert in human genetics (Prof. John Burn) of the issues raised by the play.
