Description
Maximum intensity projection of a salmon sea louse (Lepeophtheirus salmonis), a species of copepod that lives on salmon. This parasite affects both farmed and wild salmon, and has had a devastating economic impact on the salmon farming industry. Autofluorescence (green) from the specimen was imaged after fixation in 2.5% glutaraldehyde. Horizontal image width is 895 microns.
