Notes

Michaela Child comes from York but grew up just outside Newcastle. She only found out out the day before that she was going to be on the plinth. She has been teaching for 15 years and is Head of English. On the plinth she is going to write a short story and hopes she will get inspiration once she is on the plinth. She writes teenage fiction novels.
