Decorations in book are based on 26 dynasty Egyptian designs c. 650-30 B.C. Depiction of Isis, a healing deity and the greatest goddess of ancient Egypt, with description.

Physical description
1 copy. Wallet style, bound in Morocco leather with wallet to hold a pen. Endpapers printed in light brown with cream printed unicorns. Text block machine made paper, text printed in black, paper pre lined with blue and brown printing ink. The Diary has all three edges in red. Embossed blind on spine '1931' and embossed unicorn on front, embossed 'Wellcome's Medical Dairy 1931' on flap.
There is a blue tape bookmark printed ''WELLCOME' CHEMICALS PAGE 313. PRICE LIST PAGE 321' printed in dark blue. The tape has an advert attached to it, in the form of a paper; box and bottle of Wellcome Hypoloid Neo-Infundin on one side and Diginutin poison on the other.
