Description
This artificially created series of files relates to HSW's sponsoring of awards and medals of organisations. The majority of the files were generated by Linstead and his successors at WFL, and concern the medal's production by John Pinches (Medallists), storage and distribution. After HSW's death their funding and administration was taken over by the Trustees, with whom the files contain correspondence.
In addition to Linstead's files, there is also one file of solicitors' correspondence, and examples of some of the medals and prize essays.
