Notes

Kim Allison currently has three possible goals in life: to become an author, an editor or an English teacher at secondary school. Her plinth slot is based around the theme of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Both she and her mother have SLE Lupus, (systemic lupus erythematosus), an autoimmune disorder which attacks the body's cells and tissue instead of viruses. She talks of the day-to-day side effects of SLE Lupus such as allergies to sunlight, joint problems and fatigue. She will also be using her time on the plinth to raise awareness of Lupus.
