Correspondence and papers of Nathaniel Johnston and his sons. Includes 7 letters from Nathaniel to his sons C[udworth] Johnston, physician at York, and Charles Johnston, physician at Pontefract, 1685-91 (two calendared in HMC, Sixth report, appendix, p. 463), and 7 letters from Dr C[udworth] Johnston, mainly to his brother Dr Charles Johnston, 1687-90 (exhibits in the suit Charles Calvert, 3rd Baron Baltimore, versus Charles Johnston MD, October 1705).
