Notes

Gilly Collinson was brought up in York and now lives in Scarborough. She went into PR because it paid the bills but now has managed to get back into what she wanted to do since she was 7, write and illustrate children's books. Feels strongly about a number of issues she will talk about on the plinth: surveillance society, consumerism and environmental welfare. Will also read children's stories she has written from the plinth and also take photographs.
