Description
Black and white photograph of Suzanne Georgette Charpentier, a French actress knwon by the stage name Annabella, wearing a Kimono and holding an Uchiwa style fan as Mitsouko Yorisaka in the film La Bataille in 1933. In 1946, she played a lesbian role in Jean-Paul Sartre's No Exit which fuelled rumors that Annabella was secretly a lesbian herself.
