Account, expanding on diary entries, of his service with the 3rd/4th London Field Ambulance, in training at Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, Dec 1916-Mar 1917, and in Blackpool, Lancashire, March-June 1917; with the 2nd London Sanitary Company in training in Chelsea, London, June-Aug 1917; and with the 114th Sanitary Section in Egypt, Aug 1917-Nov 1919.
