One set is headed "Zig-zag models for chromatin" (dated 21 July, 1974) and begins with a side-heading "Summary of ideas etc of the last few days". A further date of 18 July, 1974 is noted on a separate sheet.

Also included in the file is a small white envelope containing strips of card and paper, some folded in a zig-zag-like manner.
