'Lacaille, AD'

These files, which were also part of accession WI/87, were boxed separately from the rest of the alphabetical sequence on arrival. They are more detailed and range wider than the other staff files, and include detailed letters about Lacaille's collecting and research activities. They may have been brought together from different provenances at some stage. However, they do contain personnel information such as contract of employment, testimonials etc, and so have been placed with the main series.
