About this work

Description

Cutting from a 1753 newspaper about comparing the water of a new well with that of an old one producing Iron Pear-Tree Water. Erasmus King (along with Sir Tanfield Lemon, Dr. Hill and Mr. Wall) was unable to gain access to the old well to compare the water of the old and the new, although he had privately tried both and found no difference in quality.
