Reprinted paper from the British Medical Journal (4 March, 1939), summarising the Innoculation Damages Claim in the High Court, Dublin: "...a long report of the action heard in the Dublin High Court which ended in a verdict and judgement in favour of the Wellcome Foundation Ltd, who had been sued for negligence in respect of diphtheria prophylactic manufactured at their laboratories and alleged by the plaintiffs to have contained living tubercle bacilli."
