Description

Papers, letters and press cuttings relating to the Abortion (Financial Benefit) Bill introduced by Nicholas Winterton 1987, which proposed to require each of the medical practitioners referring a woman for abortion to make a declaration that he or she has no interest in the place where the abortion is performed and that he will derive no benefit, financial or otherwise, as a result of the abortion being carried out in that place.
