Description
Kaposi's sarcoma (KS)
This is a high power view of a lymph node biopsy from an HIV-positive child in Africa. It shows the typical appearance of nodular KS: interlacing spindle cells with red blood cells in between. KS is formed from the proliferation of endothelial cells. H&E stain.
