Notes

Susan Virginia 'Ginny' Davis is from Wellsbourne in Warwickshire. One and Other is an opportunity to publicise her work; she performs one woman monologues. Modern motherhood and family life are the themes for her comic monologues. She is going to sing a song and then perform from both of the plays she has written, "Ten days that shook the kitchen" and "Family matters". She doesn't expect a big reaction, or for people to watch her whole performance. Her family are important to her, closely followed by her dogs and her work. She hasn't had to work since having her children and considers herself lucky. Her first career was as a translator and began working for a solicitor which led to her qualifying as a barrister. She hopes to make a visual impact and make some people smile. She performed at the Edinburgh Fringe last summer and would like to take her show to a wider audience, particularly in America. She has always written and loves vocabulary.
