Correspondence and press cuttings re work of the Cancer Control Organization (est.1934); relations with the Campaign; affiliation agreement providing the CCO with exclusive campaigning rights in SE Scotland, 1936; winding down and closure of the CCO, 1948-1953, and disposal of funds; repeal of the affiliation agreement to enable Campaign to operate in SE Scotland, particularly in view of Marie Curie International Memorial Fund activities in the area; implications for role of the Campaign in Scotland following establishment of The Melville Trust in 1952 (based on a legacy of £270,000 bequeathed by the late George Fisher Melville, advocate, of Edinburgh, for cancer research in Scotland)
