The Two fatal brothe[rs] Being an account of the notorious lives[,] conversations, and shameful deaths, of ... Evans, and William Evans his brother, noted highway-men, who were executed Hertford, on Wednesday the 2d of October, 170... for robbing Mr. John Mackay, a cheesmonger in Hungerford-Market, on the high-way. With a particular relation of their many notorious wicked actions, murther, and bold robberies, both in city and country, for near all years. Together with the manner of their being apprehen[ded], taken, and committed to Newgate and other goals; as also their tryals, examinations and condemnations, at Hertford Assizes, before the Right honourable the Lord Chief Justice Holt; with their behaviour, confessions, and last dying-speechet [sic] at the place of execution. Licensed and entered according to order.
