Creator/production credits

The artist is at present unidentified. The overall design and lettering of the print suggests it is perhaps either by T. Rowlandson, possibly after Woodward, or an early work by G. Cruikshank

Lettering note

Napoléon says to the doctors: "My dear doctors - do tell me what is the matter with me I felt the first symptoms - directly I heard the ambassador was fairly off - it is a very odd sensation." The doctor who is examining his backside replies: "Begar me have found it out - your heart be in your breeches."
