Letters to Power in response to an invitation to attend the presentaion of the Wellcome Gold Medal

The medal was presented in the Assembly Hall of the Cosmos Club, Washington DC, 9 May, 1921. Most of the letters in this file express regret at being unable to attend the occasion.
