Correspondence and papers, some undated, comprising letters to his grandfather John Lillie, DD, by various correspondents, and to his maternal relatives the Macaire family, 1824-63 (items 1-5); letters to D G Lillie from E A N Arber, Caroline Oates and others, 1903-28 (6-38); and miscellaneous papers, 1900-11 and n.d. (39-64) Included is a comic souvenir signed by D G Lillie and orders of a dinner for G H F Nuttall and G S Graham-Smith after their lectures on bacteriology and protozoology at Cambridge, c. 1909-1910 (showing bacteria and protozoa at table); and illustrated postcards (a skit on geology 1904, and views of Madeira and South Africa en route to the Antarctic 1910).
