Lettering

Use of perfume at the toilet ; three women at a wash-basin; on either side an attendant, one with an alabastron, the other with a plemochoe. The lettering on the wash-basin is a popular sentimental inscription, typical of the period, meaning:- "You are beautiful". From an Atttic red-figure vase (now lost) 470-460 B.C.
