Description

Printed notice warning against "the substitution of crude and impure imitations for the genuine TABLOID BRAND products". The notice appears in Wellcome diaries of the period.

At the foot of the sheet is the following copyrighted text: "Blind not thy eyes! Behold and beware! That sneaksome Imp of Darkness ever practiseth deceit and pyracy. He substituteth falsehood for truth, and remaineth conscienceless in all his doings, and lurketh to take advantage when no man looketh - Guard ye well against his cunning lest ye be taken unawares." The Imp of Darkness is represented by a cartoon image.
