Description
During the 1980s Bruce-Chwatt published a number of articles on the history of Cinchona and related topics, including "Cinchona and its alkaloids: 350 years", New York State Journal of Medicine, 1988, and "Three hundred and fifty years of the Peruvian fever bark.", BMJ,1988. At the time of his death he was also working on an illustrated monograph on the subject, provisonally entitled "350 years if the Jesuit's Fever Bark and of Cinchona alkaloids" which remained unpublished.
