1920: International Organisation subcommittee set up by the MWF
1922: Official representatives of MWF attend International Congress of Medical Women at Geneva; the MWF subsequently joins the Medical Women's International Association
1924: Meeting of the MWIA in London at the invitation of the MWF
1931: MWF International Organisation subcommittee dissolved and British International Standing Committee set up
1937: MWIA Congress at Edinburgh in July
1939: MWIA Office in Paris closed for the duration of the war; archives 'conveyed to a place of safety in France'
1940: MWIA HQ in France closed down and MWIA activities generally very limited
1946: Meeting of MWIA Council in London
1958: MWIA Congress held at Bedford College London
